Screen Printing is the old printing method used to print a logo or design onto a t-shirt or other type of apparel. Ink is passed through the screen to the garment, and the ink is cured. One screen is used per color.
Direct To Garment (DTG) is the newest technique used to print a logo or design onto a garment. It applies a full array of colors directly to the garment without the use of a screen similar to an ink-jet printer. It is then cured with a heat press. It requires one pass per side, instead of one pass per color.
DTG is the best solution for full color graphics on light colored shirts. It works great on white, ash and natural shirts. The inks are bright, soft and color fast.
